The Twiggle Team have been busy today helping squillions of baby frogs cross the path at the Grubble's Greeting Gate. They're soooooo miniscule that even Twiggles have to watch where they step! How cute!

Well done to Dylan Partridge-Kelly from Dussindale Primary School!  He won an exciting competition at school to design a curious creature to live in the BeWILDerwood.  Clever Dylan created this rather scary thorny bat called Cav.   Hoorah!

Leaflette was filled with glee when she opened her front door the other day to find yellow flag irises growing outside!

Joshua Callaghan's Mummy took these pictures of the wonderful Mildred the Crocklebog they both made together. She told Martin (The Twiggle on the Grubble's Greeting Gate) that she'd send the pictures in to us so that we could put them on our blog - and here they are. How fabulous! Mildred is now keeping the office Twiggles company - thank you Joshua (age 6 and a half)!

As you may know it was Minty's Birthday Party over the May Bank Holiday weekend, and we had lots of fun events and activities going on in Minty's honour. Abigail sent a birthday card to Minty and she asked if we could put it on the blog, so here it is. Minty and Abigail together...

If you came to see us over the Easter holidays you may have taken part in the Completely WILD Egg Hunt where the BeWILDerBats were very naughty and hid 6 eggs all around BeWILDerwood. The prize draw, for completed entries, was to win a Day Pass to BeWILDerwood and the lucky winner is.....

.....Jo! We think her surname is Claydon but we're not so sure, and we don't know where she's from! But we do have her email address so she's already been told about winning - how exciting!

Someone had a good birthday party here....! x

The biggest of the Boggles are only up to your knee,
They love having lots of food for their tea,
Boggles don't have adventures except Swampy,
And they don't like climbing a big tree,
They love swamps and Sweetsludge Pie
But they don't go anywhere near the sky.

We recently received a very sweet little card, hand drawn by James Sambrook from Dedham, Essex. James asked why do Boggles live on the ground.

Swampy wanted to answer the query so he dictated to Tom Blofeld who wrote back to James on Swampy's behalf. His response went something like this:

"We Boggles only live on the ground because we aren't very good at climbing things. This might be because our tummies get in the way!"

We ran a competition back in November, to name our new play area and win a Family Annual Pass to BeWILDerwood, for 4 people.

We had over 600 entries so it took some time for the Twiggle Team to sort through all of the weird and wonderfuly curious names.

After much deliberating we are thrilled to announce the name and winner, hand picked by Tom Blofeld himself......drum roll please........

Freya Womak, from Great Yarmouth, came up with the winning name "Tricky Tunnels". Huge congratulations to Freya!!! She wins an Annual Pass for 4, a named credit in our 2010 leaflet and Tom may use the name in a forthcoming BeWILDerwood book!
