It's that spooky time of year again, so dress up with flair! Make your own masks and lanterns and join Snagglefang's famous end-of-day Luminous Lantern Parade if you dare!

Our best ever event is back, so be prepared... The bats are descending from their roosts, the lanterns are bigger and better, the pumpkins are glowing and there’s an unexplained rustle in the trees (could it be Scrop, the Witch’s mystery pet or something spookier...?)

There's lantern making (or rather Slitherigrub Cocoon Making!) as well as bat mask decorating, for the smaller Twiggles and Boggles. All this will be going on in our undercover "Big Hat", near the Munch Bar, every day of the week. Each visitor who makes a lantern will be given a Slitherigrub (glow stick) to pop inside their lantern, ready to light the way on the end of day Parade, Ooooooooooo!

Our storytelling will be focussing on those pesky BeWILDerbats. Performances will be at 12:30pm and 3:30pm at the storytelling stage. New for this year is the Nutbug Crunch Hunt. This will be daily at 2pm, also at the storytelling stage, so don't miss out!

Don't forget the clocks go back this week, so we've organised the parade times accordingly.....!

Saturday 27th October: 
Crafts 1 - 5pm
Snagglefang's Luminous Lantern Parade 6pm (lasts approx. half an hour) 

Sunday 28th October - Sunday 4th November:
Crafts 12 - 4pm
Snagglefang's Luminous Lantern Parade 5pm (lasts approx. half an hour) 

This year, at the end of each day, we will all gather round the Boggle fire where the Twiggles will tell you a little story before we set off on the Parade. We'll pass the Slitherigrub tree, the Wood Witch, Swampy and other BeWILDerwood characters before heading out onto the Treacherous Trail. Wrap up warm, plan to stay until the end of the day and join in the bestest, spooky (but not too scary) event to end a fantabulous season!

If you come down to the woods this half term, make sure you bring a camera. We want to see pictures of your spoooooky fancy dress outfits and we’ll post the best ones up on our website or Facebook pages! There’ll be a prize for the best one, which we’ll announce on our blog....
