BeWILDerwood, the curious treehouse adventure park in Norfolk has picked up the theme park industry’s equivalent to an Oscar. The worldwide award from the TEA, (Themed Entertainment Association) was presented by judges to BeWILDerwood who deemed the Norfolk-based adventure park as one of the world’s best attractions. BeWILDerwood is all set for most eggcellent and wobbly Easter event

BeWILDerwood, the curious treehouse adventure park in Norfolk is holding an Easter event from the 11th to 19th April that is certain to entertain and amuse all those adventurous egg hunters and chocolate lovers over the holiday period – however a steady hand and balance is required! Named, ‘Swampy’s Steady Spoon Dash’, the event will challenge both children and the most daring of adults to complete a wobbly assault course while balancing an egg on a spoon. Those who are able to complete the course without dropping the egg, thanks to brilliant balance and buckets of bravery, will win a prize! (Released - March 2009)

Norfolk Quest Seekers Book in for Medal Presentation

The 2009 Summer Reading Challenge, organised by The Reading Agency and Norfolk County Council’s Library and Information Service, is the 11th annual challenge. Children all over Norfolk are invited to visit their local library and embark on a fantastical adventure to become a ‘Quest Seeker’. Children who take part will enjoy a three staged challenge receive a poster, stickers and some great books to borrow over the summer holidays. (Released - August 2009)

British Guild of Travel Announces BeWILDerwood The Best!

BeWILDerwood has caught the imagination of children and adults alike and now the curious treehouse adventure park is celebrating with its latest accolade of being awarded ‘Best UK Tourism Project’ from the British Guild of Travel Writers. Nominated by Jane Anderson, a Guild travel writer, she said: “This project is a fabulous breakthrough for sustainable family tourism in the UK.”

Bewildered By Bats? We have the Answer!

Norwich residents awoke this morning (23rd October) to a plague of purple bats that have claimed areas of the city centre as their new home. Alongside the infestation of the eerie flying mammals, residents also reported sightings last night of ghostly projections of bats on a number of the city’s famous landmarks. Wild, Green and the Place to be seen!

Since opening in May 2007, BeWILDerwood has caught the imagination of children and adults alike. The curious treehouse adventure park, set within 50 acres of the famous National Park on the Norfolk Broads, has certainly created excitement with its Boggles and Twiggles, together with its natural, healthy and back-to-basics ethos to natural play. BeWILDerwood, the curious treehouse adventure park in Norfolk, will be celebrating its final weekend of running WILD in the woods this season with a grand BeWILDerMonster party on 1st and 2nd November. Children’s Twiggle Dress Parade

Wear what you dare and strut your stuff for the Twiggle Dress Parade at BeWILDerwood, taking place from July 26th to July 27th 2008. You are invited to come dressed as a Twiggle or a Boggle and in turn will receive a special gift and follow the fun fancy dress trail in the woods. If you want to turn yourself into one of the imaginative BeWILDerwood characters when you arrive, the Twiggle Team will be there to magically transform you! Ballads and Boggles of delight in new book

Little people get ready…for the second book of boggling fun with “The Ballad of BeWILDerwood.” This colourful book in light and fun verse filled with charming illustrations is being launched at Waterstone’s, Castle Street in Norwich, on March 17th 2008 from 6pm to 7.30pm (Released - March 2008)

The Twiggles are busy preparing for another season of healthy outdoor playtime fun as BeWILDerwood opens its gates on Monday 17th March 2008. This year, BeWILDerwood is launching a new imaginative play area named ‘Toddlewood’ for tiny tots so they will be able to run wild in their own adventure play area within the park. Mildred is more choc than croc this Easter

Easter is one of Mildred the Crocklebog’s favourite times of year, so, from Saturday 22nd to Sunday 30th March, Mildred will be hosting her very own Easter Egg and Spoon Hunt at BeWILDerwood. (Released - February 2008)
