    Team Member

    We're expanding our team at BeWILDerwood Cheshire and are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and customer-focused individuals to join us for October.

    As a member of the BeWILDerwood Team, you’ll play a key role in creating magical, safe and memorable adventures for all our visitors from the moment they arrive to the moment they wander wearily home.

    We’re currently looking for new people to join us in the following areas:

    · Cleaner - you'll play an important role in ensuring our visitor attraction is clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone. You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across visitor facilities and staff areas.

    · Operations Team Member - a varied, hands-on role that combines outdoor park duties with front-facing visitor services and retail support. One day you might be helping families play safely on our structures in the woods, and the next you could be welcoming guests at the entrance or working in our wonderfully wild gift shop.

    At this time, we especially encourage applications from those interested in the Cleaner position. Please indicate on your CV/application which role(s) you would like to apply for.

    This role is ideal for someone with a happy, smiley personality who enjoys working with people, loves being outdoors, and doesn’t mind getting stuck in wherever needed. A degree of physical fitness is required due to the active, outdoor nature of the role.

    Due to the nature of the position, applicants must be at least 16 years old. The successful candidate will need to be available to work during weekends and school holidays throughout October.

    This is a seasonal position within our open season on a zero hours contract. Work will be on a rota basis.

  2. Bewilderwood staff memember with puppets

    Christmas Performer

    Calling all Performers!

     

    Are you looking for a job doing something a little different? Do you have a love for puppeteering and bringing characters to life?

     

    We are located in the middle of a beautiful woodland and based on a series of books filled with our own unique characters. We are looking for people who are fun, enthusiastic, and can bring our characters to life. Training on puppets will be provided.

    This position will be over our Christmas event. The dates will be: Sat 28th Nov / Sun 29th Nov / Sat 5th Dec / Sun 6th Dec / Sat 12th Dec / Sun 13th Dec / Fri 18th Dec – Wed 23rd Dec.

     

    There is potential for this work to continue into the 2027 season.

    Cafe Team Member

    BeWILDerwood at Brockhole is an exciting new catering experience opening at Brockhole National Park.

    We are looking for Seasonal Catering Team Members to join this exciting new project. You’ll be assisting our Catering team both front-of-house and back-of-house, whilst following all health & hygiene guidelines, providing excellent customer service.

    You will be required to greet each and every one of our visitors so they feel welcome and to serve each customer quickly and efficiently whilst still delivering super customer service. Roles include working on the till, operating the coffee machines, serving ice cream, preparing food and lots of other exciting tasks.

    Due to the nature of the position, applicants must be at least 16 years old.

    This is a seasonal position with flexible working patterns from March through to December on a zero hours contract. Work will be on a rota basis.

    Rate of Pay: Up to £14.25 per hour inclusive of rolled up holiday

    Cook - BeWILDerwood at Brockhole

    We're searching high and low for a Cook to join our Catering Team at BeWILDerwood in Brockhole!

    Working with the rest of the team, we need a proactive person who will take responsibility for all areas of their section, from food preparation, cleanliness, health & hygiene to stock control. Your main responsibilities will be the preparation and delivering our menu which includes, sandwiches, toasties, loaded fries and more.

    Whilst experience in a fast-paced kitchen is great, we are always on the lookout for individuals with a passion for food & people that love being part of a team.

    The role is flexible with full time & part time hours available, including weekends, bank holidays and school holidays. Typical working hours are between 8am and 5:30pm.

    Due to the nature of the position, applicants must be at least 18 years old.

    This position has an immediate start date and an interview will be arranged with our Catering Manager, dependant on availability.

    Guest Experience Team Member

    We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, friendly and imaginative people to join our Experience team at BeWILDerwood Lake District!

    You’ll help create fun, magical and memorable experiences for our visitors — from welcoming families and supporting the smooth running of Minty Land, to bringing the world of BeWILDerwood to life across the beautiful 30-acre grounds at Brockhole on Windermere.

    We’re looking for people who are confident, warm, playful and happy to be a little silly! You don’t need to be a professional performer — enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in are what matter most. Experience in acting, drama, puppetry or working with children is a bonus.

    What you might be doing:

    • Welcoming visitors and helping the smooth running of Minty Land
    • Roaming the grounds in character and creating moments of magic
    • Running story times, puppet shows, crafts and activities
    • Hosting magical birthday parties
    • Helping with trails and quests around the site
    • Supporting the wider team during busy weekends and holidays

    What you’ll need:

    • Be 16 or over
    • A DBS check (we’ll help arrange this)
    • Weekend and school holiday availability is especially welcome
    • Lots of enthusiasm!

    We're searching high and low for a Cook to join our Catering Team at BeWILDerwood Norfolk!

    BeWILDerwood cooks are responsible for cooking a wholesome menu for our visitors. We pride ourselves with our tasty, healthy, locally sourced food offering.

    Working with the rest of the team, we need a proactive person who will take responsibility for all areas of their section, from food preparation, cleanliness, health & hygiene to stock control.

    Whilst experience in a fast-paced kitchen is great, we are always on the lookout for individuals with a passion for people that love being part of a team.

    This is a seasonal position within our open season on a zero hours contract. The role typically averages between 15 - 24 hours a week including weekends, bank holidays and school holidays. Typical working hours are between 8am and 5:30pm.

    Due to the nature of the position, applicants must be at least 16 years old.

     

    Salary: Up to £12.71/hour

This will include working within the ticket offices and the Bizarre Bazaar gift shop. The next you may be helping wild explorers make their own curious creation at The Big Hat or decorating their faces with some colourful face stencils.
