Operations Team
As a member of the BeWILDerwood Operations Team, you’ll play a key role in creating magical, safe and memorable adventures for all our visitors from the moment they arrive to the moment they wander wearily home.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines outdoor park duties with front-facing visitor services and retail support. One day you might be helping families play safely on our structures in the woods, and the next you could be welcoming guests at the entrance or working in our wonderfully wild gift shop.
Key responsibilities include:
Working as part of a team to open and close the park
Supervising play structures and ensuring visitors are playing safely whilst having fun
Providing friendly help, information and encouragement to visitors throughout the park
Welcoming guests at admissions, scanning and selling tickets, and selling memberships
Waving a cheery goodbye at the end of their BeWILDerwood adventure
Working in our gift shop, including operating tills, pricing, stocking shelves and helping sell our WILD and wonderful products
This role is ideal for someone with a happy, smiley personality who enjoys working with people, loves being outdoors, and doesn’t mind getting stuck in wherever needed. A degree of physical fitness is required due to the active, outdoor nature of the role.
Due to the nature of the position, applicants must be at least 16 years old.
BeWILDerboat Driver
Transport our visitors into our magical woodland down the Dysmal Dyke and onto the Scaaaaary Lake… what made that noise? You’ll be the first introduction to the world of Twiggles and Boggles for many, so you’ll need to deliver the same tip-top experience every time. Previous boating experience is great, but not essential, as full training by Swampy (and his human helpers) will be given!
Applicants must be 18 or over for this role.
To apply, fill out an application form below and email it back to us at [email protected] or add it to the handy form at the bottom of the page!
