“This was our first time here, and the kids absolutely loved it! There are climbing places through the woods, some with slides, and a free activity area (we made crowns 😊). There are plenty of picnic benches around the woodlands and a place to grab a quick snack and a hot drink from. There are paths connecting all the areas so it's pram friendly.” - @lavellesgoexploring, Instagram, Feb 2025
“Started our half term with a 10/10 day at @bewilderwood_cheshire 🌳🪵☁️ We’ve been wanting to visit foreverrrr & it did not disappoint!!!” @jadecorran, Instagram, Feb 2025.
As the park celebrates a fantastic reopening, it’s also thrilled to announce that BeWILDerwood Cheshire has been shortlisted for two prestigious awards at the Marketing Cheshire Tourism Awards, including the highly coveted Visitor Attraction of the Year.
With half term a roaring success, BeWILDerwood is now gearing up for more magical weekends in March. Visitors are encouraged to book in advance to experience all the fun of the woods before the excitement of spring truly begins.
“We’re absolutely delighted with the response to our reopening,” said Lydia Downey, Head of Marketing and Media at BeWILDerwood. “After a number of challenges in the past few years, which I think has been felt across the industry, it’s nice to see such positive numbers. There was a lovely atmosphere in the woods too, I think people were just so happy to get outdoors again and enjoy some fresh air! We really hope to welcome some new faces this year as well as those who love to return to the woods time and time again.”
