Trying to find a fun weekday adventure with your toddler? BeWILDerwood is bursting with toddler-friendly activities, whether you're after a gentle adventure or just want to let your little one run wild in the woods.

We’ve put together a helpful plan full of handy hints and tips so you can make the most of your magical visit.

🕘 10:00am – Arrive & Get Your Bearings

The gates open at 10am, and we recommend arriving early to make the most of your day! There’s free parking and pram-friendly paths throughout the woods.

Pick up your trail sheet and map at the entrance and let the littlest explorers lead the way. There’s no wrong way to explore BeWILDerwood, but the map highlights all the best areas for toddlers.

🌈 10:15am – Start Your Adventure with a Magical Woodland Wander

Begin your day with a gentle walk into the woods along our pram-friendly paths. The moment you step under the trees, your toddler’s imagination will be sparked by the sights, sounds, and structures along the way.

Keep an eye out for hidden Twiggle houses in the trees, and Mildred the Crocklebog in the Scary Lake – she’s always a hit with the little ones!

Top Tip: Arriving early means quieter paths and more time to explore before naptime kicks in!

🫧 10:45am – Explore Toddlewood on the Hill

This area is made just for little ones! Toddlewood on the Hill is full of toddler-friendly play, sandpits, and teeny treehouses to explore.

Let them burn off some energy while you relax knowing it’s all built with younger adventurers in mind.

🎨 11:30am – Craft Time at the Big Hat

Drop by the Big Hat to join in with our daily craft activities. Crafts are included in your ticket, and you can take them home – perfect for a keepsake!

📖 12:00pm – Sit Down for Storytelling

Gather around the Storytelling Stage for a live show full of magic, giggles and the BeWILDerwood characters. Our interactive shows are ideal to entertain little ones and a great way to rest little legs before lunch.

Don’t miss out on the meet & greets too where you can meet your favourite BeWILDerwood characters and snap a photo with them.

🍎 12:30pm – Time for Tasty Treats

Head to Munch Bar for toddler-friendly lunch options like sandwiches, fruit, and ice cream. You’re also welcome to bring your own picnic. There are lots of quiet, shaded spots to sit and enjoy a bite.

🌲 1:15pm – One More Go!

This is the perfect time for your toddler to revisit their favourite part of the day, whether it’s the sandpit, mini slides, or teeny treehouses. It’s a lovely moment to soak up a little more adventure, with plenty of space to play and explore before winding down for home time.

Don’t forget to check out the Twiggle Whizzers too! These mini zip wires are perfect for little adventurers and are located right next to the bigger ones - ideal if older siblings want to zip alongside. Plus, there's Tiptoe Valley too, a toddler-friendly spot full of fun with swings and ground-level play!

🌿 2:00pm – A Slow Stroll and Spotting Game

Take one last gentle wander around the woods, encouraging your little one to spot as many Twiggle houses, flowers, and bugs as they can. Turn it into a mini game with the trail sheet or make up your own story as you walk along. It’s a peaceful way to round off your day.

🎁 2:30pm – A Quick Gift Shop Stop

Before you go, pop into the Bizarre Bazaar for soft toys, the BeWILDerwood books, and lots more. It’s the perfect way to take a bit of BeWILDerwood home with you.

🌸 Don’t forget to pick up our brand-new book Minty and the Big Stink – available to purchase in the shop! Perfect for little ones.

🕒 3:00pm – Head Home

The park is open until 5pm, so there’s still time to explore if you’ve got the energy! But let’s be honest… most toddlers are snooooozing away in the car by now after their big adventure. Whether they’re clutching their new soft toy or snoozing with a crafty crown still on, you’ll be leaving with lots of magical memories.
