Before you arrive

Before you set off on your festive adventure to BeWILDerwood, there are a few important things to keep in mind to ensure you have a comfortable and stress-free experience. 

Wrap Up Warm

• Dress for the weather: BeWILDerwood Presents Christmas is an outdoor event in a magical woodland setting, so it’s important to dress appropriately. Layer up with warm clothes, including a cosy hat, gloves, and scarf. Don’t forget waterproofs in case of rain or snow!

• Wear suitable shoes: During winter, the paths can be a bit muddy and icy, so make sure you wear sturdy, waterproof boots or wellies to keep your feet dry and comfortable.

Allow Plenty of Travel Time

Traffic can be heavier during the festive season with the roads being a little bit icier and snowier than normal, so make sure you leave plenty of time to get to us! 

Get Your Tickets Ready

Make sure you have your tickets on your phone before you leave home, so you’re ready to show them at the gate. Signal is a bit wishy washy in the woods and it’ll help speed up your entry and get you into the festive fun as quickly as possible.

Arrive Within 30 Minutes of Your Booked Timeslot.

To help make entry super speedy and manage the flow of visitors, please aim to arrive within 30 minutes of your booked timeslot. 

During Your Visit

Once you’ve stepped through the Grubbles Greeting Gates, it’s time to immerse yourself in the magic that is BeWILDerwood Presents Christmas – A Sparkly Light & Panto Trail.

Meet & Greet with Father Christmas

New for 2024: The first stop on your festive adventure is a meet & greet with Father Christmas himself! The whole family will love meeting him, and little ones will even receive a small, sweet treat to take home.

Warm Up with a Hot Drink

After meeting Father Christmas, grab a warming hot chocolate or a nice cup of tea. There’s nothing like a hot drink to keep you cosy as you explore the rest of the evening. 

Watch the Mini BeWLDerwood Pantomime

Next, head over to the Storytelling Stage where you’ll meet Jingles, Sid, and Nev as they take you on a festive journey full of fun and laughter. This is a highlight that you don’t want to miss! 

Explore the Sparkly Light Trail

End your visit by exploring the enchanting Sparkly Light Trail. The trail is filled with beautiful lights and mesmerising photo opportunities, including a magical snow globe you can step inside for a perfect snap!

Head Home

After a day filled with festive fun and adventure, it’s time to head home, but the magic doesn’t have to end there!

Wind Down

Once you’re home, kick off your wellies or boots, and get cosy next to the fire. Reflect on the wonderful memories you’ve just made with family and friends.
