General Admissions
All visitors make use of the facilities at Bewilderwood parks at their own risk and are required to make sensible decisions about their own capabilities and the capabilities of any children under their care. Visitors should take into account physical, cognitive and emotional limits and engage with play equipment with this in mind. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Children must not be carried in arms, buggies, slings or other carriers on any structures or play equipment. Visitors must obey all safety signage and instructions from park staff at all times.
For the safety of our visitors, BeWILDerwood admission prices are based on height, as how tall you are restricts use for some play structures in the park. Therefore, we find that basing our prices on height is the fairest option.
BeWILD Now tickets are for Visitors over 105cm, who are physically able to go on everything in the park.
Almost WILD tickets are for Visitors between 92cm and 105cm, who are physically able to go on almost everything except our zip wires.
Born to BeWILD tickets are for Visitors under 92cm, who won’t be tall enough for quite a bit of the park…but there’s still plenty they will enjoy such as Toddlewood on the Hill, storytelling and crafts.
Still WILD tickets are for Visitors aged over 65 as we appreciate there are elements of the park they may not want to do… but they’ll still have a great time!
Carer tickets are free of charge for persons aged 18+ accompanying a visitor that is in receipt of DLA (disability living allowance) or PIP (personal independence payment), or a Blue Badge/Access Card Holder.
Wheelchair Users are tickets for wheelchair users.
Pregnant tickets are for pregnant people over 20 weeks, who will be less able to use the equipment in the park.
Please note that the above height restrictions apply as a minimum, and every visitor is to assess each piece of equipment to their own ability.
Entry into BeWILDerwood implies agreement for all members of your party with our park terms and conditions as written here, on our website and found onsite at the main ticket office.
Entry into BeWILDerwood may be restricted due to matters outside of our control, such as adverse weather. Although we do take reasonable precautions, unforeseen emergencies can be unavoidable and so last-minute park closures may occur. In this instance, anyone with tickets booked in advance will be notified as soon as reasonably possible via the e-mail address provided upon booking, and announcements via our main social media channels will be made.
We cannot guarantee that all activities will be available and structures operational each day we are open.
We reserve the right to refuse entrance into the park to any ticket holder, in the interest of the public and for safety reasons.
We reserve the right to ask any ticket holder to leave the park at any time.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over at all times whilst within the park.
Weight and height restrictions apply to a small number of activities in the park for the benefit of visitor health and safety. These are posted at the activities within the park and within the map given on entry. They are as follows:
Minimum height for the Slippery Slopes and slides at the Broken Bridge: 92cm (3 feet)
Maximum weight for the Wobbly Wires: 101kg/16 stone
Minimum height for the Wobbly Wires: 105cm
The above heights are in place as a minimum. It is your/guardian of the child’s duty and responsibility to assess each piece of equipment to their own ability.
BeWILDerwood reserves the right to limit a visitor’s use of a structure if they are not adhering to the above health and safety restrictions.
Wristbands must be worn at all times within the park. You may enter and exit as you wish throughout the day via the Grubbles Greeting Gate, but you must retain your wristband to show upon re-entry into the park. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any visitor without a wristband.
The park operates a ‘tops on’ policy for all visitors due to its nature as a family attraction. If a visitor fails to comply, we reserve the right to remove them from the park.
BeWILDerwood is a non-smoking environment. Visitors are only permitted to smoke in the front car park, disposing of cigarettes into the cigarette bins provided. Use of e-cigarettes is permitted within the park but must be used in a discrete way so as not to impact other visitors.
Consumption of alcohol in the park is not permitted and therefore must not be brought into the park. If alcohol is discovered, it will be removed. If a visitor fails to comply, we reserve the right to remove them from the park.
All BeWILDerwood tickets are non-refundable, which is stated at the point of purchase. If a refund request is made, this must be made in writing to the BeWILDerwood office via [email protected] or [email protected]. The request will be considered by a member of management and responded to within 2 weeks from the date of request.
Due to limited capacity, entrance into BeWILDerwood is not guaranteed, unless dated tickets are purchased in advance.

Concessions
Wheelchair Users
We don’t charge wheelchair users entry into the park. The play structures and boat ride (Norfolk site only) within the park are not accessible by wheelchair and so entry into the park is free. The park itself is accessible by wheelchair through a combination of wooden decking walkways and hardened gravel paths. Areas surrounding the play structures are coated in wood mulch. The Big Hat (crafting area), and Storytelling Stage are wheelchair accessible. Where appropriate we have a small number of “rugged” wheelchairs available. Please let us know ahead of time if you think these will improve your visit, so that we can check that these are appropriate for your needs and are prepared for you when you arrive.
Visitors with physical barriers to access
Where a visitor will be unable to access the majority of our play structures due to an impairment of any kind, they will not be charged for an entry ticket. This must be known ahead of entry and can only be booked via the office.
Carers
When accompanying a disabled visitor, adult (18+) carers can visit the park free of charge. A carer is a person over the age of 18 who provides help and support to an individual who is a Blue Badge/Access card holder or in receipt of DLA (disability living allowance) or PIP (personal independence payment). The term carer should not be confused with a foster carer or a care assistant – unless the person they are caring for receives DLA or PIP. In all cases, we ask to see proof of the DLA/PIP/Blue Badge/Access Card at the gate upon arrival. The free of charge Carer must be visiting alongside the person they are caring for.
Pregnancy
We do not charge entry for visitors who are in the late stages (20 weeks+) of pregnancy. To receive free entry, pregnant people are required to be at least 20 weeks pregnant and to show a copy of their MATB1 form or bring their maternity notes. Adults with small babies will be expected to pay the standard rate.
Groups
Standard Group Visits (including holiday play schemes, Scout, Guiding, charities and children’s clubs)
Visits with over 15 paying visitors are applicable for our group rate as listed on our website. All group bookings must be made via our office at least 10 days in advance, with wristbands and booking information held at the gate on the day of the visit.
School Groups (including Primary Schools, Boarding Schools, SEN, Preschool, Nurseries, and Home Educators)
School Groups of more than 15 paying visitors receive a school rate during Norfolk and Cheshire County Council term time – please see our price list. These visits must be booked and paid for at least 10 days in advance of the visit. This price includes a ratio of one free adult for every five paying children. All carers for children with special educational needs (SEN) are free of charge. Home Educators must be part of a recognized group and be more than 15 paying visitors to receive this rate. We do not allow High School groups.
Large Group Rate – Gift Vouchers (for company reward schemes etc.)
For the purchase of 100 vouchers or more, the standard group price in Gift Voucher form is available. This needs to be agreed in advance by the office and will be sent in the form of e-code gift vouchers that are then booked in advance via our website. It is the buyer’s responsibility to distribute these amongst their employees and pass on details of expiry and how to book.
Groups of Adults
We do not allow groups of adults without children into BeWILDerwood unless as pre-booked corporate events.
